Courtyard Garden

Private client:  Belsize Village

Brief:   The client commissioned one of our bespoke curved glass screens after seeing an article in the Saturday Times.  The main requirements for this small courtyard garden (approx. 4m x 9m) were to improve views from the living room and kitchen and to re-use the existing yorkstone paving where possible.

Design Solution:  This small space was cluttered with a mix of plant pots, it needed a defined theme and shape to integrate and balance the space.  The sculptural glass screen provided an elegant and strong focal point and inspired a theme of curves - granite setts were inlaid into the paving in a semi-circular pattern radiating out to curved raised planters
